I hope you are all enjoying the spring flowers that are popping up in many yards along with the blossoms on the trees.  It is a wonderful sight. So looking forward to spring.  Hopefully less rain and warmer weather.
 
Many of you by now have probably had your COVID 19 shots.  It certainly makes one feel more comforted knowing that you have some protection.
 
I am happy to say we had a good turnout for our February luncheon and March is filling up also with a limit of 40.  We have a wonderful slate of nominees for our new Elected Board of Directors for 2021-2022.  Please see the list of officers in the "EXTRA EXTRA" section of the newsletter.
 
With things opening up we are planning a Social for June.  Unfortunately, we could not have one this past year so I am excited that it will be happening this year.  Please look for information on the date once we have everything planned.
 
Just a reminder:  We still need members to serve in several non Board positions. If you are interested please let me know.  Also, if you would like to start a new interest group, we are always open to your ideas.

 Please welcome new member Karen Poloniewicz!  If you see her at an event be sure to welcome her.  Vaccinate and they will come!!  We are seeing numbers rise at events and events resuming.   If you are out and about and meet new ladies be sure to invite them to give us a look. Remember joining now is half the membership fee and new members are welcome at two events so they can see what we are about before they join.  New Friends of Carolina is a great place to make new and lasting friends. 
The New Friends of Carolina Nominations for Board of Directors 2021-2022

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a social on Friday, June 18.  Jean Rottmann has graciously offered her beautiful backyard for us to gather for this event.  This will be for members and one guest only.  An eblast will be sent out with more details and instructions on how to sign up.
