It is Monday e-blast time again.  Please read the following for things that will not be in the Newsletter this week.  I have had many positive comments about the Monday e-blast information.  If you have something you would like to share that will not be in the Newsletter, please have information to me no later than Sunday at 6 pm.

NEWSLETTER AND SIGNUPS:  Please read through the newsletter on Tuesday.  There will be a lot going on in the next two months that you will want to know.  Wednesday, the event calendar will open at 9 am sharp.  Please be patient when registering.  We now have 20 events that over 150 members are trying to register for at the same time. 

CANCELLATIONS:  If you need to cancel your registration, DO NOT CANCEL BETWEEN 6PM-6AM.  Or in other words, you can cancel between 6am to 6pm.  This enables people to check their emails during the day to see if they have been notified about an event for which they are on the waitlist.

NOTIFICATIONS:  Please remember, if you added yourself to a waitlist, I would strongly suggest that you check your emails daily to see if you have been notified.  If you receive such an email, you MUST register through that email only.  Do not call the chair to register you and do not try to register on the calendar.  You may call the chair to find out where you stand on the waitlist.  She will be happy to let you know.

INTEREST GROUPS:  I love that some of you are wanting to start new groups.  Before you decide this, please let me know your plans before contacting Jeanne Deiger to put the event on the calendar.  All events must be approved by me first.  We do pay for initial start-up supplies, and I need to know what these will cost before we plan to add the event to the club.

Also, if you need to move your event or cancel, you also need to contact me on this.  I need to know what is happening to stay informed.

MATINEE MADAMS will meet Thursday, November 2.  Please see the calendar for more information and to sign up if you would like to attend.

BOARD:  Remember our monthly meeting has been changed to Monday, November 6th at my house.  1204 Avalon Place Stallings 28104.  I will have snacks/sandwiches, so we can finish in time for those who want to go to Contract Rummy.  I plan on going to that, and Diana Congdon’s home is very close to my home, so feel free to register.
