I had a great long weekend with my daughter and her family in Fairhope, Alabama where they live.  Now, back to business. 

We held our board meeting today.  Be on the lookout for lots of exciting events coming up for December and January.  

 

Chair/Website/Newsletter:   You must have your information updated on the website or sent to Dee no later than Friday, November 10 due to the luncheon being next week.  If you have an article that needs to be in the Newsletter, please send this information to Dee Drobnick at Nfcnewsletter2023@gmail.com  no later than Friday, November 10. If this information is not updated properly you risk your event not being correct in the newsletter or website.

 

Luncheons:  Libby Joyce and Diane McCartney are working hard on our January luncheon.  This will be the 35th year celebration of New Friends of Carolina.  The founders of the club did such a wonderful job in setting this club up properly. We continue to benefit from their hard work at getting started 35 years ago.  Be on the lookout for more information on this.  If you have any pictures from the past you would like to share, please contact Mare Walker, out historian for the best way to get them to her.  

 

 

Board Openings:  Our nominating committee will begin seeking out people who will serve as our 2024/2025 board.  I can not believe we are thinking about this already.  Andrea Woods will be the chair for this committee.  If you are asked to serve, please consider. It takes a village!! The meetings are fun and you really get a good idea of what it takes to keep the club running. You do not have to be asked, Andrea would love to hear from you to volunteer having your name put in for nomination.
