Happy Monday Everyone,

I hope this finds everyone doing well. 

Newsletter and Signups:  Tomorrow, Tuesday the newsletter will be delivered to you by email.  Please look it over and pick out those dates you would like to attend an event.  Some events have been moved up in the month and some have been canceled. It is a busy time so make sure you can attend if you sign up.

Wednesday at 9:00 am all events will open up for December. 

There seems to be more and more day of event cancellations or no-shows for events.  I am asking each of you to please look at the calendar carefully before you sign up.  Canceling the day of an event makes it very difficult for our chairs to fill your spot.  We understand things happen, but if you are unsure, please just wait and put yourself on the waitlist.  If you know ahead of time, please cancel in a timely manner so people on the waitlist can get in to the event.

Our chairs work VERY hard to make these events happen for you.  They have set limits for people to attend and  have prepared things or homes for the numbers.   Please be considerate.

Care and Concern:  Care and Concern Request 

For our members who are having surgery, or have a serious illness, etc. we would like to continue the small care and concern baskets  for those who do not need a meal train.  Therefore, I’d like to accumulate small items appropriate for these baskets.  Lotions, creams, chapstick or anything else you can think of that might be appropriate would be greatly appreciated.  I’ll put out a basket at the membership luncheon Thursday for whatever youT might be able to donate.  Thank you so much in advance!
