Good Day, Friends!
Sevilla Charcuterie Board, Charleston Crab Cakes, Steak Gaufrette, Truffle Baked Potatoes, Artichoke Nests, Honey Sriracha BBQ Chicken Skewers, and French Dip Sliders - is your mouth watering yet? May I add Crafted Cookie Trays, Chocolate Dipped Coconut Macaroons and Caramel Apple Cobblers in petite mason jars? This is the menu of heavy hors d'oeuvres that will await you on November 2, at the "Under the Harvest Moon Social" that Social Committee Chair Pauline Trautman and her committee have planned for NFC members and their guests. Believe me, you do not want to miss this event! The venue is the beautiful Olde Providence Racquet Club and entertainment will be provided by DJ Capt'n Sam. Dress is casual. (For instance, I plan to were a maxi dress with a jean jacket). All this for a price of $50 per person. Don't miss out on the fabulous food, unique venue and opportunity to dance and have fun with your New & Old Friends! Registration for the Social begins at 9:00 sharpe on Wednesday, July 24, so be sure to secure your spot!
A reminder to interest group chairs, please make sure to enter information on the website for your group by the 15th of the month so that our newsletter editor can create our digital publication with ease and timeliness.
Interest group chairs needing to change the meeting date of your group should contact me first for approval. I will confer with the calendar manager to make sure there are no major conflicts and help you select a better date if there are.
