Hurry to secure your spot in these upcoming activities:
 
- Registration for the day trip to JoLo Winery & Vineyard for lunch and the views from Pilot Mountain will close on Tuesday, August 13. We are meeting at 8:45 am on August 15, to carpool from the back parking lot of the Stonecrest movie theater. -Matinee Madams will enjoy lunch only Tuesday, August 13, at 1 pm at The Office Bar & Kitchen in Stonecrest Shopping Center. Please RSVP to Karen Mockler at 434-906-7761 or kmock765@gmail.com
 
- Registrations and/or cancelations for the August 22 membership luncheon at Mizu in the Hyatt Centric Hotel in South Park will be taken through August 15 at noon.
 
-As of this writing, there are 6 open slots for Appetizers with Friends on August 17. There is availability in Bunco 2, Mexican Train 2 and Mexican Train 3 as well.

- In the Know will be presenting a program on Tuesday October 1, from 10 am - 12 pm, on Healing Touch at the SouthPark Regional Library's community room. Healing Touch is an evidence-based Energy Medicine Therapy which activates a person's natural energy flow to enhance and support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. Certified Practitioners apply light or off-body touch while administering interventions with heart-centered intentionality clearing energy blockages and balancing the energetic flow of the body, mind and spirit, as well as reducing pain, increasing mental clarity and many other benefits. The Healing Spiritual Care Department at Atrium Mercy now offers Healing Touch to all in-house patients. This program will open registration August 21 on the NFC website calendar.
