It is with sadness that I report the passing of Carol Frohboese on August 18. She had been in hospice care after a long illness. Carol had been a member of New Friends since 1999. She will be fondly remembered for her joyous holiday parties that she hosted for Book Lovers, as well as, for her intelligent and insightful responses to the books we read.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ernest, her children and her grandchildren. Her memorial service will be private. Cards of sympathy may be sent to her family at 5415 Summer Pond Ct., Charlotte, NC 28226.
