Good Day Friends,
- The Under the Harvest Moon Social scheduled for November 2 is canceled due to low registration for the event. Those who have registered for the Social will have a credit on your NFC account of $50 or $100, depending on which you paid, that will be applied toward any fee-based NFC events you choose to attend in the future, such as a membership luncheon.
- We can't wait to see everyone at our tea on Thursday. Please plan on gathering upstairs no later than 11:25 am as introductory remarks will begin at 11:30, followed by our guest speaker to end by 11:45. This will enable the staff to have ample time to seat us for the tea to begin at noon. Don't forget to don your favorite hat or fascinator for a little fun! As a reminder, there is handicap parking behind the house along with a ramp to enter. However, since this is an older home, there is no elevator so you must access the second floor via the center stairs.
- NFC Newsletter Editor Sandee Henricks is rolling out a new, sleeker format for the October newsletter on Tuesday. I think you are going to love it!

- There is still space for more registrants in the October 1st session of "In the Know" at the SouthPark Regional Library from 10 to noon. Practitioners of Healing Touch will discuss this therapy which activates a person' s natural energy flow to enhance and support physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and healing. Check the NFC calendar for more details and contact information for In the Know Chair Barbara Evers.
