- New Friends now has two new Dining with Divas groups. If any member wishes to be a part of Divas either as a participant in a monthly group or as a substitute when a member is unable to participate in her group, please contact Chris Green at 704-621-0893 or chrisgreen126@yahoo.com.
- There are three days left to register for the BINGO luncheon on October 24th. We would love to see you there to join in the fun at the CrossRidge Center! Don't miss out on the possibility of winning a fistful of cash! There is still availability to attend this popular event with family and friends. The cost of the luncheon is so reasonable at $20 per person. Please plan on arriving at 11 am to purchase your Bingo cards - $6 for one pack and $10 for two packs. We will dine at 11:30 am and plan on starting BINGO afterward. Registrations close October 17, 2024. If you have any questions, please contact Monica Taft at 704-612-3704.
- Chair of Lunch Bunch 1 Karen Dykes reports that she passed an envelope at her event last week and the 15 women that attended donated a total of $176 to support a gift for one of the members of the three NFC-sponsored Go Jen Go families. In the coming weeks as you participate in various interest group activities, you may be asked to support a gift for Go Jen Go's Operation Joy. It is up to you how many donations you wish to make. Anything you can contribute will be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
- My sister and I are heading back to Charlotte today. We are heartened by the incredible numbers of relief trucks we are seeing carrying much needed items to Western North Carolina.
