Good news! Our December 19 Holiday Luncheon has been expanded to accommodate more members. If you have not yet registered, here is your opportunity. Registrations will end December 11 at midnight.
Elvis will be in the house at the NFC Social Saturday, January 11, from 6 to 10 pm at The Villas at Heritage Clubhouse. Registration is now open for this event. Begin the evening indulging in delicious hors d'oeuvres, Elvis will perform for 1 1/2 hours with games &
prizes following the entertainment. BYOB and the price of the evening is $30 per person. So grab your blue suede shoes and poodle skirts. Join the celebration of Elvis turning 90!!!!
Drama Queen Chair Barbara Lowrance wants you to know members may now register for the production Bright Star to be presented January 25 at 2:00 pm at the Matthews Playhouse. Based on a true story and featuring the Tony-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell, Bright Star sweeps audiences into a tale of love and redemption in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina of the 1920s and 40s. When literary editor Alice Murphy meets a returning soldier from WWII, her buried memories stir, leading to a transformative journey to understand her past and find hope for the future. With its stirring melodies and deeply resonant characters, Bright Star offers an uplifting theatrical experience that blends authenticity with unwavering hope.
Tickets for the Singing Christmas Tree production to be held at the CPCC Dale F. Halton Theater are still available. You may register on the NFC website for the performance on Saturday, December 14, at 3 pm.
