Weekly President’s Message

December 23, 2024

Seasons Greeting, Friends,

A lovely letter of gratitude has been sent to NFC by Jessie Nash, Program Manager of the Go Jen Go Foundation. She stated that the three families NFC supported were overwhelmed with the gifts, support, care packages and stockings for the kids. Jessie delivered gifts to two of our families and she relates that they gave the biggest hugs and wanted you all to know how thankful they were. The stockings were cherished. On one family delivery, the kids immediately took down their little mini stockings and hung NFC handmade stockings up and felt so special knowing someone made these just for them. Plus, NFC provided ALL the gifts on their wish lists. The grantees were amazed by the handmade bags and care items as well. "I watched one family open their gifts and the happy dances, smiles, shock, and joy they had just was an honor to watch," wrote Jessie. One little boy was asking his mother if he could go outside and ride his new bike even though it was 30 degrees that morning. You all truly made an impact on these families and took a financial burden off the shoulders of these women and brought joy into their homes. My hope is that you all feel the deep satisfaction in supporting Go Jen Go and spreading joy for the common good of our community. Doesn't that make the holidays glow brighter?
