Good Day, Friends,
An exciting week is on tap for NFC members as we head into 2025. We have a smorgasbord of diverse offerings. Something delicious for every taste.
- Monday, Contract Rummy has had two cancellations and if anyone has time last minute and wants to play, please sign up.
- Tuesday, Scrabble has some spots left. Remember the meeting place is now Whole Foods at Waverly and new start time is 12:30 pm
- Wednesday, In the Know session with renown artist Chas Fagan begins 10 am at the Southpark Regional Library's Community Room.
- Wednesday, Mexican Train 1 is full, and the Waitlist is too!
- Wednesday evening, 4 spots have opened for Ladies Night Out at the Midwood Smokehouse in Ballantyne, so there is time to register.
- Thursday, Board Meeting and Appreciation Luncheon at Zinicola for NFC's Dream Team
- Thursday, the members of Sip and Stitch would welcome you to their group
- Friday, Lunch Bunch 1 ,dining at Ted's Montana Grill, has room on its Waitlist if you want to hop on.
And on Saturday, ELVIS IS IN THE HOUSE! Registrants for this Celebration of Elvis Party should remember to BYOB. Heavy appetizers will be served. Location is The Villas at Heritage Clubhouse. Please note, it is now too late for member cancellations and reimbursement of fee.
There are a few spots left for the monthly membership luncheon on January 23, at Wan Fu. Vice President of Luncheons Monica Taft encourages you to wear red for good luck in the new year that day.
The Book Lovers meeting location has been changed for January to the home of Lisa Graf.
Pickleball is now starting at 10 am! This month's meeting is on January 21. Check out the Pickleball webpage on the NFC website and jump start your New Year's resolutions to exercise and have fun.
