Good Day, Friends,
!!!!!Fantastic Special Offering that is Time Sensitive:
Travelers Chair Mickey Key is offering a great day trip to Salisbury on Monday, March 10, and 20 members can register starting today for the trip on the NFC calendar. Participants will meet at 9:00 am at the Metro Diner parking lot, 10412 E Independence Blvd in Matthews Festival Shopping Center to carpool to Salisbury (about an hour drive). The first destination is the Waterworks Visual Art Center at 123 E Liberty St where a unique Julian Robertson exhibit of renown artists including Monet, Picasso, de Kooning and Kandinsky may be viewed at no cost. Lunch at "Recipe" will follow at 11:30 am with a menu offering sandwiches, Italian main courses, salads, pizza & wine from $10-20. At 1:30, participants will board a trolley for a tour of historic Salisbury for one hour. Salisbury, founded in 1755, is the oldest continually populated colonial town in the western region of NC and noted for its historic preservation, with five Local Historic Districts and ten National Register Historic Districts. The price per person will be $16 payable on the NFC website by February 9 to cover the cost of trolley rental. If we do not have 20 registrants by February 9, the trip will be canceled and the fee members paid will become a credit toward other future fee-bearing NFC events paid online like membership luncheons. There are no cancelations after 6:00 pm on February 9. There will be no refunds, so be sure your schedule allows you to attend this event. Questions? Contact Mickey at 704-905-8973 or email: mickeygkey@gmail.com

There are a few spots remaining for our February 27 luncheon at Bonefish. Don't miss out on the fun! Register today!
Save the date of Wednesday, April 30th for out delightful fashion show with Chico's at the Ballantyne Country Club. Please note the change of day and date which was necessary to accommodate the availability of the country club facility and Chico's staff.
