Weekly President’s Message
March 31, 2025
Good Day, Friends,
The April 30th luncheon is filling up quickly. Don't delay! Register today for a fun-filled day! Our fashion show with Chico's kicks off at 10:30 a.m. Social time begins at 10 a.m. Then on to voting for our proposed slate of elected officers for 2025-2026, lunch and special recognition of our "Gold and Silver" members. If you are bringing a guest, please be sure to register them at the time you sign up and don't forget their meal choice please.
ALL ABOARD the FUNNY BUS! There are plenty of spaces still available so don't miss this great offering. We will meet at 12:45 p.m. All information is on the NFC website including parking options. Look for the Big Red Bus. Call Andrea Woods at 210-836-4264 if you have questions or issues.
If any of the Funny Bus participants would like to meet Andrea and me after our hilarious tour for a bite to eat, we will be going to The Market at 7th Street after the bus tour. The market has a variety of food vendors from which to choose. It is in walking distance of where the Funny Bus will drop us off.
Helping Hands Chair Audrey Herman will be meeting registrants for today's activity beforehand at The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery at 4150 Yancey Rd. for lunch at 12:30 p.m. (Note change in time.) Promising Pages, the organization at which we are volunteering, is also on Yancey Rd.
There is ample room for more registrants to attend the In the Know session with Dr. Amy Fletcher at the SouthPark Regional Library on April 11, from 10:00 am-12 noon. Join us to experience a thought-provoking presentation on women's health issues.
