Good Morning New Friends,
- Membership Luncheon Thursday, June 26th - I look forward to seeing those registered for our June luncheon this Thursday, at Leo's Italian Social in South Park. Please remember your luncheon reservation is 11:30 AM. Please allow the staff to complete their setup before entering the dining area. We do not have a luncheon in July, so I suggest you gather some new and old friends and have a picnic in July. Read my President's message in the newsletter for more Picnic details.
- Monthly birthday recognition - We will be celebrating both July and August birthdays at the August luncheon.
- June is the month to renew your membership. I am happy to report 122 ladies have renewed their membership as of this morning. You have eight days left to renew. Please renew now if you plan to register for July events on Wednesday. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact myself (704-607-3105), I am always happy to help.
- Unsold tickets for Peter and the Starcatcher - Drama Queens still has 7 tickets available for Saturday, July 19th, at Matthews Playhouse at 2:00 pm. We will be turning those unsold tickets into the box office on Friday, June 27th. If you plan to register, please do so before noon on Friday. Tickets are $28.00 each and non-refundable. Please see the calendar event for more details on the play. For questions, please contact Barbara Lowrance @ 704-907-6576.
- Canceling your registration for an event - If you find it necessary to cancel an event registration, please do so between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Once you cancel, the system will automatically notify the next person on the Wait List. They have 12 hours to respond. If cancellation occurs at 8:30 PM, unless the member checks their e-mail before going to bed or before 8:30 AM the next morning, their response time will expire and the system will notify the next member. Please be kind and cancel between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM to allow the Wait List to work as designed, and everyone gets a chance to attend the highly sought after events.
- Registering a guest for an event - Please remember to register you and your guest at the same time. If you find it necessary to add someone to your registration, please contact Lori Herzhauser, Susan Brandenburg, or myself.
