Board Meeting and Welcome Coffee- We had our monthly board meeting this past week. A special thank you to all the Interest Chairs who came and helped us in welcoming potential and new members. This is so important for these women to see so many faces and hear about all of our events.

Nominations for the Board. Please contact Andrea Woods if you are interested in knowing more about any elected position. All positions are open. President, VP of Membership, Treasurer, Secretary, Webmaster, VP of Luncheons, Newsletter Editor and our new position just passed with by-laws changes, Calendar Manager.
I spoke with the board about the need for members to not talk about the upcoming nominations. Rumors were spread about some names of people being nominated. There maybe several people nominated for different positions and the “talk” could possibly hurt some feelings. It is not that things should be a big secret, it is about the nominating committee needing to have the freedom to discuss issues in a private setting. The more talk that occurs, the more difficult this makes it for the committee.
If you have any questions about a position or need to know about the upcoming process, Andrea Woods is the chair of that committee and is more than happy to discuss it with you.
