Monday President’s Message

Good Monday Morning Ladies,
I attended Shenanigans Party on Saturday night. What a fun time it was. Thank you so much to all those who made this such a fun evening for all who attended.
That brings me to a point I would like to make. All of our chairs work VERY hard at making our events fun. Please remember to say thank you for all of their hard work in making this club run so smoothly.

Thank you is so insignificant to my New Friends family who were by my side throughout Mike’s illness and ultimate passing.
I was inspired every day by the texts and emails offering prayers for his recovery. Reduced to tears often because of the love and support we received on a daily basis. Words truly fail me in sending this because no matter what I say it will never be enough.
Food, flowers, cards, donations - an amazing amount sent to Erin and me but mostly I am in awe of the love, kindness and tremendous amount of support from this community of women. I will never be able to properly thank you. I truly love each and every one of you.

Community Volunteers: Lisa Byrne is busy collecting shoes from everyone. You can bring them to any event she or I will be attending. The race is on for who can collect the most shoes. Be sure and put the number of pairs you give to her so she can keep a record.
Soup Luncheon: If you are attending the Soup Luncheon this week and have not yet Sandy know what you plan on bringing, please do so ASAP. Again, they work hard at making this a fun event and need to make sure they have a variety of food.
Drama Queens: There are a few tickets left to attend the event on April 25, to see Matteo Bocelli. I am very excited to see him. I have seen his father, Andrea and love the talent. I understand Matteo is also very talented…and quite handsome :). Sign up now.
Glitz and Glam: Our Social will be held April 13th. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN. Please sign up asap as we are needing to get numbers in to Raintree. Registration will close on April 5th. Time is running out. This is another great event. Our DJ will be Capt’N Sam. If you have any favorites you want to hear, let Pauline Trautman know. She will be sending him a playlist very soon.
